Today is Miguel Jontel Pimentel’s 35th birthday

Miguel I love you so much you taught me so much in the last 10 years and I KNOW you will continue to teach me more about life and what to be grateful for and who to trust and omg I cannot wait to see what you have in store for us later this year and in the future and for the next 35 years and beyond that time frame

I know you have big plans being kept in your pocket and I can’t wait until you take them out and show us

I AM SO GLAD YOU EXIST

I hope to meet you again next year and we can talk bc I need something to look forward to and you’re the biggest inspiration in my life and it makes me very happy

Miguel releases music video for "Funeral"

today is the day

at 12:00PM EST Miguel released the official music video for Funeral

attn Miguel you did it again

this is such a good video content wise and direction wise

for a song under 2 minutes and 30 seconds this video has it all

there is so much going on here

my favorite part is the bloody mattress

fun fact: this video was filmed over 6 months ago because Miguel cut his long dreads back in March

this is j the beginning of what Miguel has in store for us this decade and I am so PUMPED to see what he brings us in the future

Miguel names his surprise on Instagram

today October 8th 2020 at 1:14PM EST Miguel posts a blurry shirtless picture of him wearing leather pants with the caption “VIDEO, SONG, OR PROJECT?” which makes me think it is a video because of all the still images he’s been posting that look like they’re from the same movement in a video

5:57PM EST rolls around and Miguel gives us a friendly reminder for tomorrow’s announcement in a picture of him shirtless wearing leather pants

I really thought Miguel was done with the surprises but then at 10:29PM EST Miguel puts a face to the name and announces he is releasing the video to FUNERAL at noon 1 year later after it was released

Miguel’s wife Nazanin Mandi also took to Instagram and post a photo set of pictures that appear to be from behind the scenes of making the Funeral video

a lot of people think songs that were released a year or more prior to an album release date should be left in the past but um hello have you seen the success with Miguel’s previous songs that were put on albums over a year later from their release aka All I Want Is You, Sure Thing, Quickie, Simplethings, Come Through And Chill??
