Today is the 5th anniversary of the Starboy album release

I really enjoyed this album it showed his transformation from his dark era to a more suitable genre to be played on mainstream radio

in honor of Starboy turning 5 years old today, The Weeknd released a music video for Die For You

the video still follows the storyline for other music videos for the album including Starboy and I Feel It Coming

there is a preteen Abel as the lead role in the video that escapes from a mental hospital and runs away and hides in a backyard shed in a residential area where he meets his preteen love interest girl. the preteen love interest girl is in her room gaming and she hears noises outside so she goes outside to investigate and finds the preteen Abel hiding in the shed. they go inside the house and up to her bedroom and her glow in the dark stars on the walls begin moving around and her parents fell asleep watching TV on the couch downstairs but the dad wakes up when the cable cuts out bc of the preteen Abel’s superpowers and call the police when they see him standing there and he fights resistance with his superpowers and he is with his preteen love interest girl inside her parents’ house and he has his superpowers at a young age.

I wish more artists made videos years later that continue the storyline for past albums

HAPPY 36TH BIRTHDAY MIGUEL

Today is Miguel Jontel Pimentel’s 36th birthday

Miguel has been in the spotlight a few times this year between his campaign for Savage X Fenty, his Beats For Breakfast series, the launch of his clothing label Schedule One Concepts, the release of Art Dealer Chic vol. 4, his installation at Undercurrent, and the most recent news of he and his wife Nazanin Mandi separating but even if none of those things occurred this year, he is still worth making headlines for his birthday

Miguel has a lot of good things coming for him at 36 years old and I know he is going to rise from his current position in the music industry back to the top with the projects he is currently working on

Miguel was overseas in the United Kingdom for over a month earlier this year to work on music and he is currently still working on music so please pay attention it’s coming SOON

Miguel and Nazanin Mandi are separating

Miguel and his partner of 17 years Nazanin Mandi are separating after marriage of almost 3 years

this is going to come off as a shock to many people but some of us figured this out on our own over the last month or so

first off I am extremely devastated that this is happening because both Miguel and Naz and been each others rock since their teens

I figured this out back in August when Miguel wasn’t anywhere to be seen on Naz’s Instagram Stories inside their house and he wasn’t posting anything from his house- or posting much of anything at all

Naz had a big birthday party the week before her birthday and although Miguel had attended, nobody would ever know he did since he wasn’t shown in any of the videos Nazanin shared on Instagram. One video shared by an attendee showed Miguel sitting next to her at the table for a split second.

the cryptic Instagram posts began rolling in: Nazanin posting house-decorating inspiration for “her new house,” sharing posts about new beginnings, and other spiritually positive quotes. One red flag for me was that she had changed her name on Instagram from Nazanin Mandi Pimentel to Nazanin Mandi and hasn’t shown off her ring in quite a while. almost every post with Miguel in it was removed from her profile.

the day of her birthday, Miguel had made a post wishing her happy birthday and people were flooding the comments on that post saying “what’s going on? where is Naz? are you guys still together???” and many people had the same thoughts and suspicions

I am wishing both of them the best and hoping they can both remain friends for the rest of their lives and hold no harsh feelings towards one another. Miguel has been there for me through the hardest times of my life, (albeit not physically every time) and the least I can do is show him support when he needs it the most
