today is Vanessa Williams' 55th birthday

Vanessa is actually from right where I am from like 20 mins away and I know ppl that had her mom as a teacher in school and her daughter is in LION BABE

anyway Vanessa Williams is really talented.  Aside from being a singer, she's an actress, fashion designer, and Miss America of 1984.  She was the very first African American to be crowned Miss America.  

She's had 8 albums, but hasn't released one since 2009.  I really hope she makes another album one day because she has a really great voice

my favorite Vanessa Williams song is Dreamin' it's so good and it's a quiet storm song and I love quiet storm a lot

Miguel kicks off War & Leisure tour

Miguel kicks off his War & Leisure tour today in Portland, OR with his brother Nonchalant Savant and SIR

The tour ends April 12th in Berkley, CA.  Miguel didn't have an LA tour date but I feel like at the very last minute one will be announced and it will be very over the top

I am going to see Miguel on March 24th in Brooklyn and yes I will get VIP why wouldn't I do this

I am pretty sure Miguel went for a spring tour as opposed to a summer tour because he is getting married this summer and he j wants to relax and spend time with Naz and travel everywhere with her as newlyweds

once again Bruno Mars brings everything home at the GRAMMY Awards

is anyone surprised I mean his music is suitable for middle school dances, moms with minivans, and Bat Mitzvahs

 PEOPLE ARE STILL FEELING BAD FROM HIS SOB STORY FROM 2010 ABOUT HOW HE GREW UP POOR

Versace On The Floor didn't win shit and I'm not surprised because the Atlantic Starr-esque song is "too risque" for the radio and teen parties but it's the only good song on his new album

but we have the other songs that have him emphasizing on the word "ass" in That's What I Like like a "bad ass" middle schooler being left home for the first time

actually hold the phone I'm p sure that sets the tone for that song

Bruno Mars is basically the solo career stemming from the Black Eyed Peas in the 2010s 

I don't understand how That's What I Like won SONG OF THE YEAR

I cannot believe Bruno Mars agreed to a video like this he had to look like the biggest dumb ass dancing like that in front of the green screen to make this video

the lyrics to that song are very Black Eyed Peas-eque did Will.I.Am help write this song???

this dude is pushing 40 and he's still making music like that and I j know he's gonna be like Peewee Herman and still look like a child in his late 60s bc of the overuse of Botox and makeup
